School Vision Screening
Why It Matters: This project helps identify children who may have undetected vision problems so they can receive follow-up care and support for corrective glasses.
How to Help: Volunteer with screening teams or support follow-up care for students in need.
Collect Food and Hygiene Items
Why It Matters: Weekly donations of food and hygiene products help support local food banks and the New Hope Community Center, providing basic necessities for individuals and families in need.
How to Help: Donate non-perishable food and hygiene items. Drop off donations in the documented area of the main entrance of the Leisure World Administration Building.
Veterans’ Breakfast
Why It Matters: This annual event honors veterans in the Leisure World community and creates a meaningful opportunity to recognize their service and welcome them with hospitality.
How to Help: Volunteer with breakfast preparation, event support, or help spread the word to local veterans.
